Released in April 1972, The Intel 8008's speeds ranged from 500KHz to 800KHz, possessed 3,500 transistors, and used the same 10-micron process as the 4004 processor. However, this chip could address 16 KiloBytes (KB) of RAM, compared to the 4004's 640 Bytes.
