Service Pack 2 went RTM on August 6th, 2004, and included Major new features for Windows XP.

• All Features included in SP1.
• All Hotfixes prior to Service Pack 2
• New Security Center
• Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2, and Outlook Express 6.0 SP2
• Support for the No-Execute (NX) Disable Bit via DEP
• Enhanced ICF (Renamed to Windows Firewall, and Turned on by Default)
• Automatic Update - Upon rebooting from a SP2 install, you will be presented with the Microsoft OOBE, again, and more AU options will be avaiable to set
